From May 1 to 5, the 2025 China Robotics Competition & RoboCup China Open was held in Beijing, where Team Apollo of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunication (NJUPT) clinched the championship in the Simulated Robot Technology Challenge and secured first prizes in both the 3D Simulated Robot Soccer Tournament and Rescue Simulation Competition.

As one of China’s most influential and authoritative robotics academic competitions, the event was organized by the Chinese Association of Automation and RoboCup China Committee. It attracted over 1,600 participants from 233 teams representing 80 prestigious universities, including Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University, Nanjing University, and NJUPT.
NJUPT’s Robotics Innovation Base has consistently emphasized hands-on education, actively developing cutting-edge platforms for robotics innovation. The base provides robust support for independent learning, creative projects, and thesis research across all university departments, maintaining a competitive edge in multiple robotics disciplines. Faculty and students representing NJUPT have repeatedly achieved outstanding results in international and national robotics contests, demonstrating NJUPT’s strong culture of innovation and technical excellence.
