On June 24th, the Fifth Jiangsu Provincial College Young Teachers' Teaching Competition and the Seventh National College Young Teachers' Teaching Trials came to an end in Nanjing. Zhu Linna from School of Management, Wu Hong from School of Science, and Li Mingguang from School of Materials Science and Engineering won the first prize of Liberal Arts Group, Science Group and Engineering Group respectively, realizing a new breakthrough in the group achievement since the participation in the competition of NJUPT.

　　Young Teachers Teaching Competition is the province's leading staff skills competition of a class of competition projects, divided into arts, science, engineering, medical, ideological and political courses, such as special five groups, “a good class” as the concept of the competition, by the design of the teaching, classroom teaching, teaching reflections and the course of the Civic and political construction of the basics of the knowledge of the test consists of four parts. The competition was organized by the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the Provincial Department of Education and the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, and undertaken by the Provincial Education and Science and Technology Trade Union, with 180 young teachers from 13 municipal education unions and 55 university teams participating in the competition.

　　NJUPT attaches great importance to the construction of young teachers, takes “Youth Teaching Competition” as a hand, gives full play to its leading role in improving the quality of the teaching team, promotes teaching, learning and reforming by the competition, and provides strong support for the growth and success of young teachers. With the strong support of all teaching units, The School Union, Academic Affairs Office (Center for Teaching and Learning Development) widely mobilized, coordinated, selected outstanding players to participate in the competition and provided all-round protection. After more than two months of intensive training and expert counseling, the three teachers representing the school to participate in the competition showed a good spirit and excellent teaching skills.
